Laminate Veneers
Laminate veneers are very thin porcelain restorations that allow the correction of color distortions, deviousness or gaps between teeth by preserving the existing tooth tissue as much as possible without abrasive the teeth. The purpose of the treatment protocol is “minimally invasive”.
"Preapless" or "preap-less" approach is essential in laminate veneer treatment. In other words, the goal is to wear the teeth in the mouth very little and, if possible, to have the ideal smile without cutting at all. Therefore, a preliminary study called mock-up is carried out before starting treatment. So patients can easily see how their smile will change. Portraits, extra and intra-oral photographs and impressions are taken.
The final color is determined in the targeted smile and treatment is started with the minimum amount of abrasion to reach the final appearance.
